Rowe's First Hair Cut

We took Rowe for his first hair cut on September 9th, and he was 20 months old. He is no longer Rowe Dirt. If you don't get it, then you missed a classic movie.

He only fussed one time. As long as he had his book, he was happy.

Catch up Time

I took a short sabbatical from blogging the last few weeks, but for some very good reasons. Is a good reason the same thing as an excuse?? I don't think it is. Let me a give you a list of why I haven't been blogging lately:

1. At the end of August we made a game plan to put our house on the market with a realtor and For Sale sign in our yard on Thursday, September 3rd.
2. Wednesday night, September 2nd, our realtor calls and asks if he can show our house the following day (the 3rd). There was not even a sign in our yard yet. We agreed and worked until midnight Wednesday night to get our house ready to show.
3. Our realtor shows our house and calls us that afternoon with an offer from the couple who looked at our house. It was such a good offer we had to accept. We find out we have three weeks to move out and close on our house.
4. We spent two weeks packing and moving in the rain.
5. September 9th - Rowe got his first hair cut. I'll post pics very soon. He did great!
6. September 14th I gave a presentation at MSU in my night class and spent the previous weeks preparing for it.
7. I have spent the last few weeks researching, writing, and studying for my comps that are in October. Please start praying for me now.
8. Rowe tried to eat a couple kids at school, so we spent a lot of time talking with him about biting. I guess the second hand Twilight watching influenced him a little too much.
9. I have been busy, busy filling stationery orders.
10. September 23rd we closed on our house.

I think those are enough good reasons (not excuses). I will be slow blogging between now and October 23rd due to comps preparation. I am a bit of a nerd. I can't believe I'll finally graduate in December. It's not easy being a full time wife, mom, student, fairy, and teacher, but it is all worth it!

Pics of Rowe

These are for you Jenny. I hope this helps satisfy your Rowe fix. I am long overdue for posting some updated pics. I'll post more later.
I wish I could sleep this sound.
I think it is time to put him into a big boy bed. He is outgrowing his crib each day! He has gotten so TALL.
Rowe still loves bath time!!! He runs and gets into the bath and screams, "Bubbles" even if there is no water in it.
Rowe also loves the spray ground. He is such a fish.
