We are about to start the joyous fun of potty training. He likes to sit on his potty, but that is about it thus far. I had planned on waiting until we had moved into our new house to start the training, but I decided to do it now since I finished school today, and he has been asking about the potty a lot lately.
Any and all suggestions are welcome. I know a lot about the potty training in three days strategy, but I'm not sure if that is what we'll try yet or not.

How wonderful that he doesn't have diabetes! I am praying that all of his tests come back negative and that they rule his blinking is just a tick.
We are in the process of potty training Will. I bought the book "Toilet Training in Less Than a Day" and it is intense for that day. Honestly, we didn't make it through the day but it did lay the groundwork for his training. I tried not to buy a potty and just let him use the toilet but that didn't work so I think that messed him up plus we had a couple of distractions the book said to get rid of. I still think it is a good guide. I would recommend not using pullups if you can avoid it. Will pretty much equates them with diapers and he does better when wearing underwear. Unfortunately our sitter won't let him wear big boy pants at her house till he's fully trained. Good luck! Rowe seems like a smart boy so I'm sure he will do great! Just tell him daddy will be upset if he doesn't pee in the potty! ha!
